Recently, Tanner Racing was introduced to a new product made by the Lubri-Loy Company of St. Louis called Revive. Initially, I was skeptical of the manufacturer’s claims of reducing friction and heat so I decided to personally test it on our Roehrig Shock Dyno.
By following the suggested ratios and adding approximately 5% of Lubri-Loy’s anti-friction oil fortifier, Revive, it immediately reduced the internal friction which was displayed in compression and rebound graphs and reduced the temperature of the shock itself which was monitored by an infrared sensor.
I also treated a #40 chain and noticed a reasonable gain on the go-kart chassis dyno we manufacture. I coated the chain with Revive and removed the extra lube with a paper towel then ran several runs on the chassis dyno to prove there was a gain in performance. Upon installation of the standard untreated #40 chain, the original performance output returned making a believer out of myself. I would imagine this is a great product for the racing and industrial world.
