The Lubri-Loy Company, a St. Louis lubricant maker since 1949, will sponsor driver Carson Ware and the No. 53 Chevrolet for Joey Gase Motorsports in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series National Debt Relief 250 at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday, October 31.
The race starts at 4 p.m. ET and airs on The CW and ESPN Unlimited, with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. It is the eighth of nine races in the series' Chase.
Martinsville comes one week after Lubri-Loy sponsored Ware at Talladega Superspeedway. Ware, 26, of Jamestown, North Carolina, has made 23 O'Reilly Auto Parts Series starts since his 2020 debut, including Martinsville with Joey Gase Motorsports in 2024.
"Martinsville is old-school short-track racing, and that fits a company that has been making lubricants since 1949," said Costa Kapothanasis, Owner of Lubri-Loy. "Carson gave us a great start at Talladega, and we're proud to keep that going with Joey Gase Motorsports on Halloween. Whether it's a plant floor, a food processing line or a race car, our job is the same: keep things running."
"Martinsville is a track where you have to take care of your equipment for all 250 laps, so it's fitting to have Lubri-Loy on board," said Ware. "I appreciate Costa and everyone at Lubri-Loy for sticking with us, and I can't wait to get the No. 53 on track."
Lubri-Loy makes industrial and NSF H1 food-grade lubricants under the Lubri-Syn, Impact-FG, Lubri-Cut, Lubri-Clean and Lubri-Poly brands, along with an automotive line. Kapothanasis' principal business is Costa Oil - 10 Minute Oil Change, a retail quick-lube business with more than 70 locations across the country.
